The publishing house Planeta approached me to illustrate the cover for the newest book by bestseller Alice Kellen: «La Teoría de los Archipiélagos». The project evolved and I had the opportunity to make over 40 illustrations and drop caps for the book.
Sketchbooks are probably the most intimate part of an artist. Often, only finished drawings are shown to the world, and many of those sketches will never be seen by anyone else but the artist.
These drawings don’t represent scenes, they are an intimate approach to the main character’s sketchbook. adding a lot more depth to the story.
They allow us to get to know the character and his heart on another whole level.
